Ambiguous
It fascinates me that two people can look at a picture or painting and see it in a completely different way. In my series of 'ambiguous' paintings I sought to exploit this to the max, creating pictures that are deliberately ambiguous. I wanted people to look at my paintings the way they would look at clouds to discover the shapes and characters hidden within. In some of my pieces the character of the painting is more obvious than others, where I like to think that whether you see the sunny or the sinister aspect of each painting depends on your personality, mood or state of mind at the time.
